Lamia (WIP)

I think the story is that ‘Lamia’ was a queen who was a mistress of Zeus. Hera resented this, killed Lamia’s children and turned Lamia into a half woman half snake monster that devoured children. There are other versions but I think the gist is the same — gods fucking over mortals because the gods are angry at each other. Which just really seems quite nasty but also seems indicative of the way the world really works.
