The greatest cultural accomplishments in history have never been the result of the brainstorms of marketing men, corporate focus groups, or any homogenized methods; they have always happened organically.   1. I'm a huge fan of Outsider art. When I was a college art student, we had a plethora of active outsider artists working around us in Missouri. One of my favorites was Robert Smith. He used to come on campus and I'd paint with him from time to time and share a smoke. Interesting fellow.
